The Los Angeles Rams are signing veteran kicker Brandon McManus, marking their third change at the position during a turbulent start to the 2026 NFL season.
The 35-year-old arrives after Blake Grupe suffered a season-ending torn ACL during Sunday's 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals at SoFi Stadium.
McManus, who previously played for the Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos, worked out for Los Angeles on Tuesday alongside free-agent kicker Matt Prater.
The move gives the Rams another experienced option as they attempt to address ongoing special-teams concerns following a disappointing 2-4 start.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport shared the latest development Tuesday on X, formerly Twitter, alongside fellow insider Mike Garafolo, detailing the decision to bring in McManus.
“The #Rams are signing veteran kicker Brandon McManus, per me and @MikeGarafolo, the latest in Los Angeles’ kicker saga. He worked out today, along with FA K Matt Prater.
