It appears that patience is running thin with Clemson football fans, for head coach Dabo Swinney. Swinney's Tigers team was booed on Saturday, as they struggled to post points in a matchup with North Carolina.

“Clemson ends the half with an 18-play, 88-yard drive that ends with a FG and a whole lot of boos,” college football insider Stewart Mandel posted to X, formerly Twitter.

Video went viral on social media from ESPN, that showed a Clemson wide receiver wide open on a play. The Tigers offense wasn't able to capitalize on the situation. At that point, Clemson had the ball inside North Carolina's five-yard line.

Clemson's fortunes didn't turn around much in the second half, as again the Tigers had to settle for a field goal. Once again Tigers fans were booing.

Clemson fans already saw Swinney's team get beat badly this season, in the season opener against LSU. The Tigers managed just 10 points in that contest.
