Blake Snell endured a rough start to Game 3 following the opening pitch against the Milwaukee Brewers. But manager Dave Roberts saw a more “possessed” pitcher afterward for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Roberts dropped that endorsement with Ken Rosenthal during the Brewers-Dodgers showdown on Wednesday night.

“He’s got that look, he’s possessed,” Roberts said. “He's going after these guys. The fastball has life, his changeup and breaking ball is good. Right now, he's in a good spot.”

Jackson Chourio still frustrated Dodger fans early. He took advantage of Snell's 97 miles per hour fastball and sent the ball flying over the right field wall for the lead off home run. But Snell didn't take long to snap out of the early funk.

Snell fanned not one, but three batters after the Chourio blast. He created the swing and miss against Brice Turang, who struck out against Snell's fastball. He got William Contreras with the same pitch, which topped at 98 mph. Andrew Vaughn rose as the third out, with Snell trusting an 83 mph curveball for the third out.

The veteran left hander forced two fly outs to help close out the second inning. Joey Ortiz struck out facing Snell for the third out of that same inning. Snell later fanned Contreras and Turang again, frustrating both Game 2 heroes in the process from the early get go of Game 3. Chourio didn't have lighting strike twice on his side, as he popped out facing Snell.

He stayed in during the fourth and forced two more Brewers batters out on strikeouts. He stayed in through the fifth and sixth inning.s
