The Buffalo Bills survived a wild overtime battle against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night, and a crucial special teams play helped decide the outcome. Buffalo blocked Harrison Mevis' potential game-winning field goal before Tyler Bass delivered the decisive kick in a 37-34 victory.
The Rams had a chance to end the game after James Cook fumbled in overtime, which ultimately gave Los Angeles possession and an opportunity to win. Matthew Stafford moved the offense into field-goal range, putting Mevis in position to finish the game.
