The Buffalo Bills have brought one of their favorite game-day traditions into their new home, and the players wasted no time making it part of the stadium’s atmosphere.

During Buffalo’s game against the Detroit Lions, The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside” played late in the fourth quarter, prompting the Bills' sideline and more than 60,000 fans to sing along.

The moment quickly became one of the most memorable scenes of the game. Video shared by WROC-TV sports director Thad Brown showed Dawson Knox, Josh Allen, Dalton Kincaid, and other Bills players singing along to the 2004 hit as the crowd took over the stadium.

Allen joined in with a smile, while Knox and Kincaid appeared especially invested in the familiar tradition.
Bills’ tight end, Kincaid, compared the feeling to ‘crack’ after the post-game interaction.

“I think I went up to Dawson. I said ‘It hit like crack,'” he said. “It was awesome, just seen everybody sing it. I think it's probably the loudest one we've had, which is pretty cool to see. I know there's some controversy with it, but I think everybody kind of enjoyed it.”

However, the song has long been a favorite inside Buffalo’s tight end room. “Mr. Brightside” has become something of a team anthem over the years, with Bills players regularly singing it together away from the field as well.

“Probably because he knew I was not feeling too great. Mr. Brightside always will revive me. Yeah, was that was a good opening, Mr. Brightside showing. Hopefully. I know there'll be a lot lot more of those and can't wait looking forward to,” Knox added.

Allen, Knox, and their teammates have even performed the song together during Knox’s wedding celebrations.
