The Buffalo Bills witnessed new franchise history thanks to Josh Allen. Buffalo's franchise quarterback scored the first touchdown inside the new Highmark Stadium against the Detroit Lions. But Allen also pulled off a feat Thursday night not seen since 1960.

Allen entered the new home venue already red hot from his Houston Texans performance from Sunday. But he lifted Buffalo to the early 21-0 lead in the first half.

ESPN insights revealed Allen hit a new league milestone in the process. 

“Josh Allen is the first NFL player with 3+ pass touchdown. And 3+ rushing touchdown in his team's first two games of a season since 1960,” the account posted on the social media website X, formerly Twitter.

Although his Bills watched the Lions march down the field and end their latest drive with a Jahmyr Gibbs touchdown, making it 21-7 before halftime. Still, Allen continues to add to an already decorated NFL resume.
