Buffalo delivered an offensive masterclass during Thursday night's 41-31 win over the Detroit Lions, leaving Detroit's defense gasping for air while the offensive line had absolute fun in the trenches.

For Dawkins, the relentless pace and fearless play-calling under offensive coordinator Joe Brady felt less like grueling NFL labor and far more like a video game console coming to life.

The veteran tackle pointed to Buffalo’s aggressive strategy right from the opening coin toss as the ultimate spark for the high-scoring night. Rather than deferring to defense like most teams, the Bills elected to take the football immediately, establishing a confident tone across the entire sideline.

That aggressive mindset paid instant dividends. Buffalo marched 85 yards on its opening drive, capped by star quarterback Josh Allen powering into the end zone for a 1-yard touchdown. Allen operated at peak efficiency, accounting for five total touchdowns, throwing three scoring passes and rushing for two more. Meanwhile, running back James Cook III provided a devastating ground attack, spearheading the backfield with 135 rushing yards on 21 carries. By halftime, Buffalo had already built a commanding 27-7 cushion.
