The Buffalo Bills finally got Ed Oliver back for their Week 8 clash against the Baltimore Ravens. The defensive lineman had missed the last month due to a knee injury against the New England Patriots. Oliver certainly made his presence felt as he had three quarterback hits to help the Bills to a 36-10 win against the quarterback-depleted Ravens.

Oliver went through a massive personal loss over the summer with the passing of his son. After the game, he opened up on how his teammates on the defensive line have helped him during this difficult period.

“A lot of them don't know it, but some days I don't be feeling too high. I come to that D-line room, and you've got guys like Zane Durant that just put a smile on my face. And Big Boy, I'm talking about Deone (Walker), and TJ (Parker) and the different personalities in the D-line room that really lift my spirits when sometimes I'm not really all the way there,” Oliver said.

Losing a child is one of the most painful things anyone can experience in life. Thankfully for Oliver, he has a support system in that Bills D-line room that can help him in some ways cope with the unbearable loss of a loved one.

It's not every day that a rugged football player gets honest about mental health. That's why it's heartwarming to hear Oliver be vulnerable and show his appreciation to his friends on the team for all they've done for him during these difficult times.
