The Buffalo Bills once rose as a contender to bring back cornerback Tre'Davious White in Jan. 2026. Now Buffalo will have its reunion amid the NFL Injury pileup in the secondary.

ESPN league insider Adam Schefter revealed the franchise's plan for White on Monday.

“Tre’Davious White is signing with the Bills’ practice squad, where he will acclimate before joining their active roster,” Schefter posted on the social media website X, formerly Twitter.

But Schefter added how talks between White and the Bills came with the former saying no to previous offers.

“White turned down several opportunities to return to Buffalo,” Schefter noted. “White started 16 regular-season games and two playoff games last season.”

Yet the White signing also comes amid one other pivotal update involving Buffalo involving CJ Gardner-Johnson.
