Derrick Henry is turning his 11th NFL season into another chapter of record-book destruction. During the Baltimore Ravens’ Week 3 clash against the Dallas Cowboys at Maracanã Stadium, Henry scored twice on the ground. That pushed his career rushing touchdown total to 135, including the postseason. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, that moved Henry past Pro Football Hall of Famer Marcus Allen, who finished with 134. Henry now occupies third place on the NFL’s all-time rushing touchdown list. Only Emmitt Smith (183) and LaDainian Tomlinson (151) remain ahead of the Baltimore powerhouse.
Henry’s latest milestone is even more impressive considering the workload he continues to handle deep into his career. The 32-year-old veteran entered the Dallas matchup after scoring three rushing touchdowns in Baltimore’s season opener against Indianapolis. His ability to consistently punish defenses remains central to the Ravens’ offensive identity. With Baltimore’s offensive line dealing with multiple injuries, Henry’s physical running style became even more important. It allowed the Ravens to sustain drives and keep pressure on Dallas. Tomlinson’s 151-touchdown mark is now only 16 scores away. That puts another historic benchmark within sight if Henry can maintain his remarkable production.
Henry was selected by Tennessee in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He eventually became one of the league’s most dominant running backs. He won consecutive rushing titles in 2019 and 2020, capped by a historic 2,027-yard campaign that earned him AP Offensive Player of the Year honors. After eight seasons with the Titans, Henry joined Baltimore in 2024. He has continued producing at an extraordinary level. Now above 13,000 career rushing yards, Henry has moved into elite historical territory, and he is not finished climbing.
