After receiving a surprise visit from Vice President JD Vance at practice, it didn't appear that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was moved at all.

Speaking to the media after practice, Burrow was asked about Vance's visit. He barely acknowledged the vice president, saying they didn't have a chance to interact. He explained, “He came with everybody and left with swiftness and efficiency before the end of practice.”

Burrow elaborated by saying that he loves that football brings people together. Burrow appreciates people being interested in his job and wanting to see him practice, but again, he didn't mention Vance in this part of his response.

“A lot of people around. That's what I love about what I do,” he said when asked for his thoughts on having everyone at practice. “It brings a lot of people together, and people want to take time out of their day to come and watch what we do, watch what I do, and watch all the work that I've put in to come and watch greatness. That's everybody in the locker room; that's why we do what we do. Whether it's on the TV, whether it's in-person, whether it's on the practice field, that's what we do.”

Vance, an Ohio native, was making the rounds while campaigning in Cincinnati on Wednesday, Oct. 21. He headed to the Bengals' practice after his rally to watch the action.

He got to tour the locker room and shake hands with Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, even wishing the team “good luck,” according to The Enquirer.

It doesn't appear he got to interact with the team very much aside from the coach. At the very least, he didn't have a chance to meet star quarterback Burrow.
