The Chicago Bears will face the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks in a high-stakes primetime battle on Monday Night Football. The Bears are heading into the matchup 5-2, with Williams healthy and back in the lineup.
In recent media availability, Ben Johnson praised Williams' play, saying he's eager to improve his game and accept criticism.
“I love just where he is mindset-wise right now. No one's more critical of him than himself at this point. As good as he's done taking care of the football and certainly (having) the higher completion percentage and all those things, we come in and there was a lot more to be had last week. He's the first one to say it and we go through it and (detail) where can it improve while still highlighting the improvements we've already made along the way.”
But now he faces a big test against a Seattle Seahawks defense that held a Patrick Mahomes-led Kansas City Chiefs team to just 3 points and no touchdowns in their primetime Sunday night matchup.
Williams understands the task at hand playing against the Seahawks defense.
“Obviously that’s the best defense in football right now — stats-wise and players and scheme. It’s going to be fun for us, it’s going to be a challenge for us. And we accept that challenge.”

“You’ve got to be as patient as possible. And that’s obviously hard the whole game trying to be patient, patient, patient. It's a challenge for me.”
