On any list of the most impressive or noteworthy teams from Week 1 of the NFL season, you won't have to wait long to find the Chicago Bears. Ben Johnson and company hung a record-setting 59 points on the Carolina Panthers in a 59-37 win to get to 1-0 on the young season.

During the offseason, Johnson said he not only wanted to have the best scoring offense in the NFL, but that he wanted to score more points than any unit in the league's history. Scoring 59 points is a good start on that goal, but it's going to take more than one excellent performance to achieve it.

Naturally, the worry is that the Bears could feel some complacency coming into Week 2 after slicing through the Panthers like a knife through butter. On Wednesday, Johnson provided the perfect response to the notion that their Week 1 explosion could cause the Bears to relax a bit.

“We haven't scored any points this week,” Johnson said, via CHGO Bears.

Johnson is a bit of an old-school coach who is hard on his players and doesn't dwell much on the past, so it doesn't come as a surprise to see him taking such a no-nonsense approach to his game-week prep. That mentality is part of what makes him one of the best young head coaches and play-callers in football, and this answer is another insight into his mind.

While scoring 59 points against any NFL team is a difficult feat that deserves plenty of applause, things are going to get a little bit tougher against a blitz-happy Minnesota Vikings defense that completely blanked the Packers late in its Week 1 win. Caleb Williams will have to be extremely sharp, and the Bears will have to work much harder to find success in the running game this week.

But if Johnson has proven anything during his time as the head coach in Chicago, it is that he can rack up points against just about anybody. Expect a titanic battle between him and Brian Flores on Sunday in this NFC North clash.
