Las Vegas Aces coach Becky Hammon has never been afraid to speak her mind, even if she may ruffle some feathers. Just ask the fans of the New York Knicks.

On Thursday, Hammon was brutally honest after the Aces eliminated the Indiana Fever in the first round of the playoffs. Las Vegas downed Indiana, 94-83, in Game 3 at Michelob ULTRA Arena.

For the second straight year, the Aces disposed of the Fever in the playoffs.

In the postgame conference, Hammon was asked whether she could see similarities between the two teams since both have a star-studded trio. In response, the three-time champion coach kept it brief.

“No,” said Hammon.

Her blunt response drew a laugh from A'ja Wilson, who was seated beside her. When prodded further, Hammon doubled down.

“Listen, I think that team has great potential, but it's different,” said Hammon.
