Chicago Bears quarterback Case Keenum drew major praise from Philadelphia Eagles legend Nick Foles after leading the Bears to a 27-7 Monday Night Football victory at Soldier Field.
Keenum started in place of injured quarterback Caleb Williams and delivered an efficient performance in his first NFL start since December 2023. The 38-year-old completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns without an interception, while also adding a 1-yard rushing score.
Foles, the Super Bowl LII MVP who spent much of his career in Philadelphia, praised his longtime friend’s timing, accuracy and command on X, formerly Twitter, sharing the following message after the veteran signal-caller’s standout performance.
“My friend Case Keenum is playing lights out tonight; he looks unreal. He is getting the ball out quickly and accurately, even when under pressure.
There are several QBs around the league who are struggling and should watch how Case Keenum is playing tonight. He is on time, in rhythm, and throwing extremely catchable balls.”
