The Chicago Bears had a disaster of a game against the Green Bay Packers in Week 5. The Bears entered this contest as one of the better teams in the NFL. They did not look the part against the Packers on Sunday.
The Packers dominated Chicago all day. Quarterback Jordan Love finished the game with 367 yards passing and two touchdowns. Green Bay cruised to a 31-7 victory over the Bears at Lambeau Field. There is certainly no love lost between these historic rivals, as cornerback Jaylon Johnson showed after the game.
“Yeah, this game is personal. I wouldn't expect them to lay down just because they're up. For us, we gotta fight back. As men, at some point, we gotta play for pride and the name on the front and the back,” Johnson said, via CHGO Bears.
The Bears offense, usually rather high-powered, faltered in this contest. Quarterback Tyson Bagent threw just 87 yards and two interceptions. Veteran Case Keenum didn't fare much better. He threw an interception of his own, though he was able to eclipse 100 yards passing.

Next week presents a new opportunity to stack wins and get better. The Bears will look to do that when they take on the Atlanta Falcons on October 18.
