The New York Giants keep finding ways to win football games in 2026. It wasn't always pretty, but New York emerged victorious over Arizona thanks to a game-winning pick-six from Deonte Banks. But Banks was not the only defensive player who had a great game against the Cardinals.

Giants head coach John Harbaugh had nothing but good things to say about Arvell Reese after another strong performance from the rookie linebacker.

“He was all over the field again, he played great,” Harbaugh told reporters after the game, per SNY Giants. “You know I could have given him, he may get a game ball yet for defensive player of the game, I don't know. He had an interception, had numerous tackles again. He's really, he's taking off.”

Expectations for Reese were high after New York selected him in the top five picks of the 2026 NFL Draft. So far the rookie linebacker from Ohio State looks to be a rising star who has a bright career ahead.

Reese had another strong performance in Week 4. He logged nine solo tackles, three passes defensed, and an interception. The rookie led the Giants in tackles and had a nose for the football throughout the entire game.

The Giants leaned heavily on their defense to get past the Cardinals. New York forced a total of three turnovers, all of them interceptions, and limited Arizona to 270 total yards of offense. Meanwhile, the Giants focused on feeding Malik Nabers on offense while struggling to find room to run the football.

Regardless, New York is now 3-1 on the season and claims sole possession of first place in the NFC East division standings. The Giants are still in a vulnerable situation without their starting quarterback, but they are still finding ways to stack wins.

It will be exciting to see if the Giants can keep their winning streak alive next weekend.

Next up for the Giants is a Week 5 road game against the Commanders.
