Alabama football wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams has already missed the team's matchup against Tennessee after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery to treat a meniscus injury. Unfortunately, the star wideout is now set to miss another game, as he has been ruled out for the Crimson Tide's upcoming clash against Texas A&M.

Pete Nakos of On3 confirmed that Coleman-Williams would remain unavailable as he continues his recovery from the procedure.

“Alabama WR Ryan Coleman-Williams is out this week against Texas A&M as he continues to recover from arthroscopic surgery,” Nakos wrote.

Coleman-Williams played through a knee injury during Alabama's game against Georgia on Saturday. However, the junior suffered another setback in the fourth quarter when a hit resulted in a head injury. After being evaluated on the field, he headed to the locker room and did not return to the game.

Coleman-Williams finished the Georgia matchup with three receptions for 39 yards. His early departure made the game difficult for Alabama, and they eventually suffered their first loss of the season, falling 20-17 to the Bulldogs.

Before the injury setback, the former freshman All-American had been on pace to challenge the production of his freshman season in 2024, when he recorded 48 receptions for 865 yards and eight touchdowns.

After experiencing a dip in production during the 2025 season, finishing with 49 catches for 689 yards and four touchdowns, the young receiver made a strong start to the 2026 campaign. Through six games, he had accumulated 23 receptions for 415 yards and four touchdowns.

His stellar start to the season had offered encouraging signs that he could rediscover his earlier form and strengthen his NFL Draft prospects. However, the latest injury threatens to disrupt that momentum, particularly as the wide receiver prepares for the 2027 NFL Draft.

However, apart from the star receiver, Desmond Umeozulu, Cayden Jones, Nick Sherman and Jeremiah Beaman, and Terrance Green are also ruled out for the upcoming game.
