The title defense of the Las Vegas Aces will continue in the semifinals after they beat the Indiana Fever, 94-83, in Game 3 of their first-round face-off at Michelob ULTRA Arena on Thursday.
A'ja Wilson was dominant as usual, finishing with a double-double of 36 points and 10 rebounds on top of two blocks. She shot 11-of-18 from the field. Chelsea Gray added 23 points, four rebounds, and five assists, while Jackie Young tallied 18 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.
The Aces will wait for the winner between the Golden State Valkyries and the Dallas Wings.
Las Vegas and Indiana were neck-and-neck for the majority of the do-or-die affair, until the defending champions broke away in the closing minutes.
Caitlin Clark scored 18 points on 6-of-18 shooting. She also had 4 assists, two steals, four blocks, and six turnovers.
The Aces eliminated the Fever in the playoffs in back-to-back seasons.
