Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers referenced Netflix's Peaky Blinders in their NFL Paris pre-game outfit.

The Steelers faced the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Oct. 25, when Rodgers, alongside several Steelers stars, joined in on the fun for their overseas tunnel look. While the NFL stars thought they were being clever with their united front on the outfit, fans couldn't help but poke some holes in their plans.

“Ah yes the famously French peaky blinders,” one fan wrote in reference to the show's British origin.

“Lmao yall in France not England,” a fan commented, sarcastically correcting the team.

Another fan came to the Steelers' defense, noting the upcoming holiday: “It’s Halloween ya f– idiots. They know it’s France.”

“Tbf [to be fair] a lot of the flashback scenes are of Tommy and the boys in the tunnels in France,” another fan wrote in support of the Steelers' outfit choice.

While the outfits might not have been a hit for all Steelers fans, they are to leave France as winners as they defeated the Saints 16-10. The win however did come with a personal accolade for Rodgers who broke his scoring pass tie with Peyton Manning on the all-time touchdown passes list. Rodgers is now third with 540 touchdown passes in his career.

This will be Rodgers' final year in the NFL but he did share what he hopes to see for future international games: “I wish there was a mandate though from the league. And they would have to open up their pocketbooks too, which maybe they’re a little tight on money and stuff, but I think they should mandate every team coming over on Sunday or Monday to really enjoy the culture and the place you’re going,” he said postgame. “You can do events in those cities and outreach stuff and community work. But they won’t because they’re a little tight.”

The Steelers' next game will be on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. ET against the Cleveland Browns.
