Mike Evans is one of the most consistent players in NFL history. Over the course of 11 straight years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the receiver surpassed the 1,000-yard mark. That is something that only Jerry Rice, the clear-cut best pass-catcher ever, had also done.
Evans' streak ended last season, and then he joined the San Francisco 49ers this year. Unfortunately, injuries have started to plague the 33-year-old as his career has progressed. The six-time Pro Bowler exited the 49ers game against the Arizona Cardinals with a rib strain. Now, Ian Rapoport is reporting that Evans is considered day-to-day.
