With Brock Purdy playing at a high level, the San Francisco 49ers have stayed unblemished with a 6-0 record. They will try to extend their winning streak when they visit the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Purdy would be the runaway winner as MVP had it been awarded today. He has thrown for 1,460 yards and 14 touchdowns, with a 69.6% completion rate. He has been intercepted only twice. The 49ers have a 6-0 start for the first time since 2019.

His success on the field has translated off it, as the 26-year-old quarterback has become a hot commodity for brand commercials. He, however, said he feels awkward when he sees them, although his loved ones enjoy them.

“I think they get more of a kick out of it than I do, I think. You know, family and friends. They're like, ‘Wait, be quiet!” I'm like, ‘Yeah, whatever.' I love Toyota, but I don't want to keep watching myself on TV and stuff. I mean, it is what it is,” said Purdy in a media conference.

Brock Purdy was asked how he feels when he sees himself on tv in his own commercials:

Purdy signed a lucrative deal with Toyota in 2024.

The one-time Pro Bowler also has had brand endorsements with Adidas, Alaska Airlines, Applebee's, and Buffalo Wild Wings, among others.

Still, he said he has not gotten used to the added spotlight.

“It's cool for family and friends to see it. I guess we get a laugh out of it more than anything,” added Purdy.

“When you see yourself in commercials, or you hear your voice and stuff, it's like, ‘Ah, I don't wanna hear this.' But it's fun.”
