The South Carolina Gamecocks football team will get two major reinforcements ahead of Saturday's SEC opener vs. the Mississippi State Bulldogs, with EDGE Dylan Stewart and offensive tackle Jacarrius Peak set to make their 2026 debuts.

Both players missed the Gamecocks' first two games while completing their recoveries from injuries. South Carolina removed Stewart and Peak from Friday night's SEC availability report after listing both as probable earlier in the week.

On3 Sports' Pete Nakos took to X, formerly Twitter, sharing the game-day update on the two key Gamecocks ahead of their Week 3 matchup with Mississippi State.

“South Carolina removed EDGE Dylan Stewart and OL Jacarrius Peak from the injury report Friday night, and they are set to make their 2026 debut against Mississippi State today.

Great news for the Gamecocks. Remains to be seen what Stewart's usage will look like.”
