The LaMelo Ball Electric Experience is off to a good start, to say the least.
As expected, Ball, despite his devil-may-care style and loose-cannon tendencies, has been the ideal addition to the Minnesota Timberwolves, helping the team to a 3-0 start.
The Timberwolves beat the Toronto Raptors, 117-94, at Target Center on Sunday. Ball had 15 points, eight assists, and two steals in just 17 minutes.
The Timberwolves have won by an average of 23.3 points, becoming just the third team in league history to open a season with three straight wins by 20-plus points.
The 25-year-old Ball has been a game-changer, as he is tied with Jaden McDaniels in leading the league in plus-minus, as noted by Real App. Following them in the top five are their three teammates: Rudy Gobert, Ayo Dosunmu, and Anthony Edwards.

Ball's selflesness, vision, and pace have done wonders for Minnesota, adding a layer on offense that the team has not since in recent years.
He is averaging 16.0 points, 6.3 assists, and 2.0 steals. He is shooting 42.3% from three-point range.
With the Timberwolves, Ball is not tasked with carrying a heavy load, unlike his tenure with the Charlotte Hornets. It will help preserve his body, which should bode well for him since he has dealt with multiple ailments.
While it is still early, Ball has a strong chance to play in the postseason for the first time. With his playmaking, Edward's scoring, and the support of McDaniels, Gobert, Dosunmu, and Jonathan Kuminga, the Timberwolves could even reach the NBA Finals for the first time.
Minnesota will face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.
