2025 calendar year table shows just how bad Tottenham have been in Premier League
Tottenham’s dismal performance in 2025 was laid bare by their lowly position in the Premier League’s calendar–year table.
The north London club ended the year in 15th place for matches covering the second half of last season and the first half of the current campaign.

Although Tottenham found success on the European stage, it has been closer to home where their problems have been exposed.
Ange Postecoglou’s side ended last season in 17th spot– one place above the relegation zone.
And it hasn’t fired much better this side of the summer break with Thomas Frank‘s inherited squad sitting 13th in the table.
Dire reading
The stats also make for damning reading with Tottenham winning just 11 of the 37 games across 2025.
With 20 defeats and six draws, Spurs picked up just 39 points during a bittersweet calendar year.
In fact, out of the ever-present Premier League teams over 2025, Tottenham find themselves in the bottom three.
Across the north London divide, Arsenal top the 2025 calendar-year table after another consistent performance from Mikel Arteta’s men.
The Gunners are currently top of the Premier League table for the 2025/26 campaign but while the optics look impressive, Arsenal are still without the ever-elusive league title.
Arteta’s side have won 24 of their 36 games in 2025 with Tuesday’s 4-1 win over Aston Villa taking them to a whopping 83 points.
That puts them three points ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City who won 25 games in 2025 having played two games less than Arsenal.
Aston Villa finished in third place with 23 wins and 76 points from their Premier League ventures.

In what may come as a surprise, Liverpool placed fourth in the table despite lifting the Premier League title in May.
The Reds were hampered by an indifferent run of form between September and November where they lost six out of seven league games, leaving Arne Slot’s side slumped in the bottom half of the table.
Chelsea and Newcastle finished fifth and sixth respectively with Crystal Palace capping off a historic year in seventh position.
Notably, Everton made strides following the return of David Moyes in January with 16 wins from 39 games while Brighton, Brentford and Fulham all placed in the top half.
A year to forget
Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United endured a tumultuous year having lost the Europa League final in May while missing out on European altogether this season.
United finished 12th in the calendar-year table with just 13 wins from 38 games and with a goal difference of minus one.

The Red Devils could only muster up 50 points in 2025 over a period collectively amounting to a season’s worth of fixtures – their worst total in the Premier League era.
Unsurprisingly, the promoted clubs faired the worst having spent much of the year in a different division, with Burnley propping up the table…
