World Darts Championship Day 4 betting tips: Picks for Sunday at Ally Pally
The first Sunday of the PDC World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace is day four of the tournament and some of the big names taking to the stage include Stephen Bunting and Joe Cullen.
Bunting, seeded fourth, takes on Poland’s Sebastian Bialecki in the evening session, while the Rockstar Cullen takes on former World Youth champion Bradley Brooks on the latter’s return to Ally Pally after a four-year hiatus.
The afternoon session begins at 12.30pm as Ritchie Edhouse faces Jonny Tata, while Dimitri Van den Bergh is part of the evening entertainment, with the night session from 7.00pm.

World Darts Championship betting tips
- Tip 1 – Standout Bet of the Day – Dimitri Van den Bergh to beat Darren Beveridge @ 10/11
- Tip 2 – Possible Surprise – Joe Cullen to beat Bradley Brooks @ 11/8
- Tip 3 – Stats Tip – Lukas Wenig Under 3.5 180s vs Wesley Plaisier @ 20/21
- Tip 4 – Daily Treble – Ritchie Edhouse to beat Johnny Tata, Dom Taylor to beat Oskar Lukasiak & Stephen Bunting to win 3-0 vs Sebastian Bialecki @ 9/4
Tip 1 – Standout Bet of the Day – Dimitri Van den Bergh to beat Darren Beveridge @ 10/11
Dimitri Van den Bergh should make his big-stage experience count when he faces Scotland’s Darren Beveridge.
The Dreammaker has two quarter-finals and a semi-final in the bank at this event, losing to Michael van Gerwen in the last-four in the 2023 World Championship.
This is his 11th appearance and he’s suffered just one first-round loss, back in 2017.
Beveridge is ranked 75th in the world and was last spotted losing 6-1 to Ryan Searle at the Players Championship Finals. The world number 23 should avoid an early bath.
Tip 2 – Possible Surprise – Joe Cullen to beat Bradley Brooks @ 11/8
Joe Cullen won a Players Championship event as recently as September, defeating Gerwyn Price in the final, and the Rockstar often comes to life here.
Cullen last exited in the first round back in 2018 when he was unfortunate to bump into Jermaine Wattimena. His runs have been ended by Michal Smith, Luke Humphries and Price in the last three years.
He starts against former World Youth champion Bradley Brooks here, the 25-year-old seeking a first Ally Pally win after first-round losses in 2021 and 2022.
Cullen is ranked 40 places higher than Brooks and his experience on this stage could count for plenty.
Tip 3 – Stats Tip – Lukas Wenig Under 3.5 180s vs Wesley Plaisier @ 20/21
Lukas Wenig appeared in the quarter-final of the Grand Slam last month, losing 16-8 to Danny Noppert.
The German threw eight of the 18 maximums in the quarter-final, averaging one every three legs.
Before that, he’d managed seven maximums in 41 legs in the tournament, for an average of 0.17 per leg. He faces Wesley Plaisier in round one and under four 180s for the world number 64 seems fair.
Tip 4 – Daily Treble – Ritchie Edhouse to beat Johnny Tata, Dom Taylor to beat Oskar Lukasiak & Stephen Bunting to win 3-0 vs Sebastian Bialecki @ 9/4
PDC major winner Ritchie Edhouse gets play under way on Sunday as he faces Kiwi qualifier Johnny Tata.
The 33-year-old is a capable thrower and should give a good account of himself but Edhouse, the 2024 European Championship winner, should come through.
England’s Dom Taylor beat Martin Lukeman and Mike De Decker at Players Championship 34 in late October and should have the game to bypass Swedish world number 133 Oskar Lukasiak, beaten in the opening match at his last eight Players Championship events.
Stephen Bunting has won all three meetings with Poland’s Sebastian Bialecki and the Bullet should make short work of his 79th-ranked opponent for a straight sets win.
