With bats getting better every year and cricketers learning new techniques to improve their power-hitting, even the biggest grounds in world cricket are looking tiny. No score in modern-day cricket is safe. Also, batters are no longer perturbed when they get off to a slow start, as they know they have the capability to catch up in no time with some big hits.

On that note, let's take a look at players who hit the most sixes in international cricket in 2025.

5. Tanzid Hasan - 44

Tanzid Hasan has improved his power-hitting skills commendably in recent years. While most opening batters rely on splitting gaps and picking up boundaries, the stylish Bangladeshi batter loves to deal in sixes.

In 2025, the southpaw hit a total of 44 sixes in 34 innings across the two white-ball formats. Tanzid has not made his Test debut yet. As many as 41 out of the 44 maximums he has amassed has come in the shortest format of the game.

4. Sahibzada Farhan - 45

Sahibzada Farhan has only represented his country in the T20 format. The right-handed batter was one of the best performers for Pakistan during the Asia Cup in September.

In 26 T20I innings, Farhan belted 45 sixes. He finished the year with an average of 30.84 and a strike rate of 133.62. While he might not have a mind-boggling strike rate, he tends to score a lot of his runs through sixes.

3. Harry Brook - 50

Harry Brook is a perfect example of a modern-day batter. The white-ball captain of the England team plays the same aggressive brand of cricket across formats. Currently playing the Ashes 2025-26, Brook has hit 50 balls out of the park this year after playing 45 innings across the three formats.

To break it down, Brook has hit 14, 20, and 16 sixes in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, respectively. Even during the ongoing Ashes, the Keighley-born has hit four sixes in eight innings on pitches that have been challenging for batters.

2. Abhishek Sharma, Shai Hope - 54

Abhishek Sharma has been one of the most dangerous opening batters in T20I cricket in recent times. He has taken away games from opposition teams single-handedly. He has only played T20 cricket for India so far. In 21 innings, the Punjab batter has hit 54 sixes.

On the other hand, Shai Hope is a batter who has honed his big-hitting skills as his career has progressed. To put things in perspective, for many years, his ODI strike rate was hovering in the early 70s. However, it is almost touching 80 (79.81) now. Hope has also hit a total of 54 sixes - four in Tests, 18 in ODIs, and 32 in T20Is.

1. Dewald Brevis - 65

South Africa's batting prodigy, Dewald Brevis, tops the list. He has amassed a whopping 65 sixes after playing 32 innings across the three formats in the year. This includes six in Tests, 20 in ODIs, and 39 in T20Is.

Brevis is undoubtedly among the next big stars in world cricket. If there are any doubts about his talent, watching highlights from the second T20I between South Africa and Australia in Darwin on August 12 should clear them. The 22-year-old has excelled across formats and seems set to spearhead South Africa's batting for many years to come.
