Tyson Fury U-turns on Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua prediction after bold £1m bet
Tyson Fury has changed his mind on the outcome of Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua’s upcoming clash.
Paul and Joshua are set to square off on December 19 at Miami’s Kaseya Center in a professional heavyweight clash.

While most are picking Joshua to blow away his much smaller and far less experienced foe inside a couple of rounds, Fury had initially gone against the grain by picking Paul to knock out AJ.
“I don’t know about [it being a] tune-up, I think Jake Paul knocks him out,” said Fury earlier this year.
“I think that AJ is a spent force, and I think Jake Paul is on the rise.
“I like his new heavyweight look. He is a bit chubby, a bit bulky, he is getting there.”
Fury even went as far as to offer a £1million wager on the result with anyone willing to take up the bet.
However, ‘The Gypsy King’ is now anticipating that the fight will be decided by the judges.
“I think it will go the distance,” he told OOOsch TV.
“I think it will be a move around and a points job, absolutely.”
Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury hangs in the balance
Providing Joshua comes through his bout with Paul unscathed, there are plans in place for the Watford powerhouse to return to the ring in February over in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
A win there will pave the way for the long-awaited all-British showdown with Fury.

Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh is hoping to square the heavyweight titans off against each other next summer, with Fury seemingly poised to reverse his retirement.
‘The Gypsy King’ hung up his gloves in January following back-to-back losses to Oleksandr Usyk.
At the time, the Joshua fight was the only matchup worth sticking around for, but the lay of the land has changed significantly in Fury’s absence.
“Listen, I don’t know what’s gonna happen in 2026, but we’re gonna find out, you know?” Fury added.
“It’s just around the corner. If it is to be, come back to boxing, there’s a lot of massive fights out there to be made.
“There’s the Joshuas, there’s the Usyk trilogy, there’s Fabio Wardley, there’s Daniel Dubois, there’s [Deontay] Wilder, there’s everybody.
“Everybody who’s out there, if I come back, then them fights may be potentially to happen next year.”
