Trevoh Chalobah shows off aftermath of nasty elbow from Arsenal star as Enzo Maresca hits out
Enzo Maresca has called out inconsistency from the officials following Chelsea’s draw with Arsenal.
The Blues boss was left shocked that the visitors were not reduced to 10 men.

Meanwhile, Chelsea played almost an hour with a man less after Moises Caicedo was sent off.
The midfielder was dismissed following a VAR review for a challenge on Mikel Merino.
However, Arsenal defender Piero Hincapie avoided the same punishment after elbowing Trevoh Chalobah during an aerial duel.
Hincapie was one of six Gunners players booked, though, with Mikel Arteta’s side set to be fined £25,000 as a result.
The Ecuadorian’s challenge on Chalobah left the Chelsea man with a black eye, which he later showed off on social media.
In a selfie shared to his Instagram story, Chalobah could be seen holding an ice pack on his cheek.
He added a series of emojis alongside the image, including a facepalm and expressionless icon.
What did Maresca say?
Chelsea captain Reece James claimed after the match that Arsenal should also have ended the clash with 10 men.
Maresca was then asked about James’ comments, explaining: “I think Reece is right, but they decide.
“He asked me about Moi’s red card. It’s a red card, but why was (Rodrigo) Bentancur’s against Reece not a red card when we were at Spurs away?

“As a manager, we struggle to understand why they judge in different ways. Moi’s is a red card, yes. Bentancur’s is a red card, yes. Why they don’t give him a red card?
“We struggle to understand. The reality is that it’s a red card. But why do they judge in different ways?
“The Trevoh one, I asked the referee, he said to me that it was not an elbow. So, this is what they said. (He had a) black eye, with ice at half-time. But they judge in different ways.”
Rodrigo Bentancur was booked during Chelsea’s win over Tottenham Hotspur in October after a heavy foul on James.
Although he avoided a red card, Caicedo was not as fortunate and will now serve a one-match ban.
The midfielder is set to miss Wednesday night’s trip to face Leeds at Elland Road.

Meanwhile, Arteta was also critical of the home side’s approach following the red card.
The Spaniard claimed at full-time that Chelsea had tried to get an Arsenal player sent off to even up the teams.
He admitted: “Obviously we wanted to settle the game. We didn’t manage to do that.
“We had more yellow cards. Those players were constantly targeted to try to even the game in terms of numbers.”
Chalobah had put Chelsea in front just three minutes into the second half despite the sending off, only for Merino to equalise shortly before the hour mark.
The result leaves Arsenal five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table, with Chelsea a point further back in third.
