Tottenham head into Saturday afternoon’s London derby desperate to get back to winning ways after Tuesday night’s draw at Newcastle means they’ve now not won any of their last five matches.
A 95th minute equaliser from Cristian Romero, his second of the night, prevented Thomas Frank’s side from falling to a fourth consecutive defeat, but couldn’t help his side climb back into the top half of the Premier League table.
Tuesday’s point on Tyneside mean that Spurs head into the weekend sat 11th in the table, two points off the top half but only three behind seventh placed Brighton.
The north London’s side’s home form will be an area of concern for Saturday’s hosts though, with only a Wolves side rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table having picked up fewer points in the league at home.
Spurs have picked up just five points from their seven league games in front of their home fans so far this season.

Brentford will make the short trip to north London for the second time in just four days after falling to defeat against league leaders Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night, come up short in a 2-0 loss.
Spurs boss Frank opted to leave Brentford in the summer after nearly seven years in charge of the club, and has been replaced by Keith Andrews, a man who spent last season as part of the Dane’s backroom staff at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Only goal difference currently separates Andrews’ side from Frank’s ahead of the weekend, and the Bees will be determined to get one over their old boss on Saturday at his new home.
Like their opponents though, only Wolves have picked up fewer points away from home this season than the west London side, who have lost six of their seven Premier League games on the road, though their one victory did come in the capital.
Brentford have only beaten Tottenham once in their last 20 meetings since 1948, a run which includes defeats in each of their last three games against each other.
