All in, all the time.

That was Tom Brady as New England’s quarterback, as the eventual GOAT of the NFL collected six Super Bowl rings during two brilliant decades in New England.

Pats legend missing the plot in Vegas

Maybe Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza or Oregon’s Dante Moore can eventually turn the annually failing Las Vegas Raiders into a respectable football team again.

Both college quarterbacks are near the top of countless mock drafts, and the Raiders hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 draft thanks to their 3-14 record.

Maybe John Harbaugh can fix a broken Las Vegas team after failing to get the most out of two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson, or Kevin Stefanski can click with the No. 1 pick.

But the current impression of Brady as a minority owner of the Raiders continues to mirror his run as FOX’s biggest NFL voice on TV.

He was much better as a legendary pro QB, and he’s not cut out for this doing-everything-all-at-once stuff.

Brady has improved as an announcer in Year Two but he’s still sounds iffy and inexperienced behind the mic.

But it’s his daily conflict of interest as a hands-on part owner of the Raiders that is really hurting his NFL image.

A recent scathing report from ESPN made it sound like Brady has no idea what he’s doing trying to occasionally run a pro football team.

“Tom definitely influences everything that goes on there,” an agent of a Raiders player told ESPN. “The coaching hire, the Geno Smith trade, Matthew Stafford recruitment, he was involved with all that.”

Too many big misses for Brady in 2025

Pete Carroll was a disaster in Las Vegas and has already been fired — after the Raiders whiffed on future Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson and whiffed harder on Chip Kelly as Carroll’s out-of-touch offensive coordinator.

Smith was also a huge miss as the Raiders’ QB, while Sam Darnold carried the Seattle Seahawks — Carroll’s old team — to a 14-3 record and the No. 1 playoff seed in the NFC.

Throw in a failed pursuit of Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford — an NFL MVP candidate leading a 12-5 team — and Brady would be on the verge of getting fired if he was a general manager.

Instead, the Raiders’ football operations are being guided by John Spytek, a first-time GM who also a Michigan college teammate of Brady’s.

Factor in that Raiders owner Mark Davis ($2.5 billion net worth) fell into the job because of his famous father, Al, and has regularly appeared easy to lead astray, and it could take years for Las Vegas to finally build a team befitting one of the best stadiums in American sports.

Las Vegas needs home run with next coach

“Who would want the Raiders job?” an agent told ESPN.

“The coach who takes the Raiders job is the coach who takes any job. They know: ‘As soon as we have a string of losses — which we will likely have — they will be calling for my head and the owner is going to listen.’ “

Wide receivers of all-time – Does Randy Moss or Jerry Rice come out on top?

Tight ends of all-time – How does Travis Kelce compare?

The best NFL head coaches and GMs struggle with work-life balance because the jobs are so relentless and all-demanding.

Brady might have more power than any other minority owner in the league, yet he’s split between FOX TV broadcasts, trying to get Birmingham City past Wrexham and out of the Championship, the Raiders, his social life and promotional events.

During the two-decade peak of the Patriots, ‘Do Your Job’ was a mantra passed down from Bill Belichick to Mike Vrabel, Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Vince Wilfork, Rodney Harrison, Brian Flores, Wes Welker, Tedy Bruschi and so many more.

Sure, Brady proved that he could lighten up when he and Gronk moved to Tampa Bay, and inspired the once-hopeless Buccaneers to a shining championship trophy.

But even then, Brady was a singular driving force pushing and uniting his teammates to believe that they really could demolish Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.

Raiders have hired and fired for years

Imagine being Maxx Crosby in 2026, watching your team appear to tank to get the No. 1 pick and having your play-by-play intensity thrown back in your face.

3. New England Patriots (14-3)

No one cares about a soft schedule in the playoffs.

Drake Maye vs Justin Herbert and Mike Vrabel vs Jim Harbaugh is must-watch playoff TV.

Pats 27-20 in a New England winner that will just be the start of the ‘next Tom Brady‘ talk.

Brady would have demanded a trade if the Patriots treated him like the Raiders treated Crosby.

Brady never would have tolerated a 3-14 Carroll as his head coach, or a fumbling Kelly as his OC.

The Raiders aren’t good enough for Crosby right now.

If Harbaugh or Stefanski become Las Vegas’ next HC, simply making the playoffs could be years away.

Brady can only improve as the Raiders’ in-the-middle-of-it-all minority owner — because his initial big decisions have been so poor.
