Three-cap England international tipped to make it into Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad
Thomas Frank believes one of his Tottenham Hotspur stars will earn a spot in Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad.
England are set to face Croatia, Ghana and Panama at this summer’s finals in North America.

The Three Lions boss will have a final chance to run the rule over his tournament hopefuls next month.
His side face Uruguay and Japan in a pair of friendlies at Wembley Stadium in March.
Whilst Harry Kane will captain England at the World Cup, Tuchel faces a decision when it comes to which other strikers are on the plane.
Frank is confident Dominic Solanke will make the cut after his scoring heroics against Manchester City on Sunday.
The Spurs forward grabbed a brace, including a stunning scorpion kick equaliser, as his side came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 in north London.
Solanke has now been tipped to make a surprise return to international football by the end of the season.
Solanke tipped for England
Speaking to talkSPORT’s Alex Crook after the match, Frank was asked about the 28-year-old’s chances of an England recall.
The Dane explained: “It’s up to Thomas (Tuchel) to do that, of course. I’ll always back my players, and especially when they perform.
“And I think if he keeps this goal ratio, I’m pretty sure he’ll be in the World Cup squad.”
Solanke’s goals against City were his first in the Premier League this season in what’s been an injury ravaged campaign.

Having missed five months following ankle surgery, the former Bournemouth striker has made just three starts in all competitions this season.
However, he already has four goals to his name having found the net in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt.
A call-up in March would represent his first for a year, whilst the last of Solanke’s three caps came back in November 2024.
He had made his senior debut under Gareth Southgate as a 20-year-old against Brazil in 2017.
However, Solanke was made to wait seven years for his second cap before returning under Lee Carsley at the start of last season.
Although he was part of Tuchel’s maiden England squad, the Chelsea academy graduate has not been called up since.

Kane was the only recognised striker included for the Three Lions’ final set of World Cup qualifiers in November.
Ollie Watkins was left out due to concerns over his fitness, with another injury potentially keeping the Aston Villa man out next month.
Unai Emery was without Watkins against Brentford on Sunday after he limped off against RB Salzburg in midweek.
Meanwhile, Ivan Toney has also featured under Tuchel, with his last cap coming in June.
Toney has scored 26 goals in 28 appearances for Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli so far this season.
