Thomas Frank told he’s ‘sacked in the morning’ as Tottenham star ‘lost his head’ in ugly FA Cup scenes
Tottenham Hotspur fans mocked their head coach Thomas Frank as they endured a dismal first half during a 2-1 loss to Aston Villa.
Spurs, who were two goals down at halftime in the FA Cup third round tie on Saturday, have now won only one of their last seven matches.

Emi Buendia fired Villa into a deserved lead in the 22nd minute, and Morgan Rogers doubled the lead during stoppage time.
There was a chorus of boos from home fans when the second goal went in, with many leaving their seats before the half-time whistle.
Villa fans began to chant ‘Sacked in the morning!’ towards the under-pressure Frank.
They were soon joined by Spurs supporters as the atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium turned sour.
Speaking on commentary for talkSPORT, Alan Pardew revealed what the Dane needs to do at half-time to inspire his side to a comeback.
“There’s always a way back, particularly in the cup games, so I think he needs to inject a bit of optimism in that dressing room and get them out of that shape.
“And when they are in that shape, make some tackles and make something happen.
“It’s almost like passive, Subbuteo players just standing around.”
Despite their first half performance, Spurs made an excellent start to the beginning of the second.
Wilson Odobert found the bottom corner to spark much-needed joy for the home support.

Spurs drastically improved throughout the rest of the match and had chances to level.
But Villa held onto their lead and progress into the fourth round.
Tensions boiled over at the full-time whistle as both sets of players clashed in front of the travelling supporters.
It appeared as though Ollie Watkins celebrating in front of Joao Palhinha sparked the melee, which eventually simmered down.
Pardew felt Palhinha’s post-match actions was emblematic of the pressure everyone at Tottenham is under.
“Him (Morgan Rogers) and Palhinha have been at it all second half,” Pardew said.

“There’s been some sort of incident there and it’s still brewing now, Palhinha has completely lost his head.
“I think that just shows you the pressure that is growing here not just on the manager, but on the players.”
Frank’s future at Spurs is set to be the topic of discussion in the aftermath of another poor result during his tenure so far.
Defeat has come just days after a late 3-2 loss at Bournemouth, with Frank unknowingly holding an Arsenal cup before kick-off.
They have lost four of their past seven matches in all competitions and exit the FA Cup in the third round for the first time since 2014.
