Thierry Henry lands new job for 2026 FIFA World Cup
Thierry Henry will work as a pundit during the 2026 World Cup in North America.
The former France forward has landed a role with FOX Sports for the tournament.

Henry is set to begin his new job on Friday at the group stage draw in Washington DC.
It comes ahead of next summer’s finals in Canada, Mexico and the USA.
The tournament gets underway on June 11, with co-hosts Mexico playing in the opening match, with the final five-and-half weeks later on July 19.
Henry has joined the US broadcaster as a lead analyst for the World Cup.
His arrival marks the first time he will work with FOX Sports after joining their punditry team.
The 48-year-old joins presenter Rebecca Lowe, who has also joined as a host for their coverage of the tournament.
Reacting to the news, Henry said: “It’s an honor and privilege to be part of the World Cup coverage for FOX Sports.
“For me, the World Cup is the ultimate sporting event and to join the team and still have some involvement in the tournament, fills me with a great deal of excitement.
“The draw in Washington tomorrow means we are close to the start. I can’t wait.”
As a player, Henry played at four World Cups between 1998 and 2010.

He was part of the French side which won the tournament on home soil in 1998, beating Brazil in the final.
Les Bleus would reach the final once again in 2006, with Henry starting the match as they lost on penalties to Italy.
Across 17 appearances at the World Cup, Henry scored a total of six goals.
Meanwhile, his overall tally of 51 goals in 123 caps for France places him third and fifth, respectively, in their all-time records.
