There’s plenty of football to get stuck into on Tuesday, including action from Europe as the UEFA Champions League makes a return with the knockout stages.

With games also taking place in the English Championship, here are our selections for another busy night of football from across the continent.

Borussia Dortmund to beat Atalanta @ 19/20

Borussia Dortmund will take confidence from their impressive recent form at Signal Iduna Park as they prepare to host Atalanta on Tuesday evening. 

The German outfit arrive on the back of three consecutive Bundesliga wins and have suffered only a single defeat in their last eight matches on home soil.

The visitors are enjoying momentum of their own, having claimed victory in each of their last three fixtures. 

However, Atalanta’s away performances have been less convincing, with just one win from their past four trips, a run that includes a 1-0 loss at Union Saint-Gilloise in their most recent Champions League away outing.

BVB head coach Niko Kovac will be aware of the importance of building a first-leg cushion before the return clash in Italy, and Dortmund look well placed at 19/20 to secure that edge over La Dea.

Benfica v Real Madrid –  Real Madrid to win, both teams to score & over 9.5 corners @ 11/2

Real Madrid will be determined to take a lead back to the Spanish capital for the second leg when they take on Benfica in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Los Blancos will be looking for revenge after suffering a 4-2 defeat at Benfica during the league phase of the competition last month, a dramatic result that secured the hosts their qualification with the crucial goal coming eight minutes into stoppage time.

Real have bounced back and  find themselves in good form, having won their last three games since that defeat, although their defence remains far from watertight, conceding in two of those wins.

Benfica might well get on the scoresheet, although they are not as desperate for a two-goal win now in this first leg, and the La Liga giants are backed to draw first blood to continue their winning form.

Add over 9.5 corners too as there should be plenty, particularly given Real offensive threat and defensive deficiencies. There were 11 corners in the last meeting and it would be little surprise to see the 9.5 landmark broken again.

Monaco double chance v PSG, Galatasaray double chance v Juventus & Wrexham to beat Bristol City @ 11/1

The Champions League has thrown up an all-Ligue 1 affair with Monaco hosting Paris Saint-Germain.

Monaco have already beaten PSG at the Stade Louis II in the league this season, while PSG have failed to win their last two away games in the Champions League against Athletic Bilbao and Sporting Lisbon, and lost 3-1 at Rennes in Ligue 1 on Friday.

With that in mind, Monaco to win or draw starts this acca, while Galatasaray are backed to win or draw at home against Juventus.

Juve are in a rough patch of form at present without a win in their last three outings. Gala are on a four-game winning streak and the Istanbul outfit are tipped to avoid defeat in Tuesday’s first leg with home advantage.

Completing this three-fold, Wrexham are backed to claim all three points at Ashton Gate against Bristol City in the Championship.

The Red Dragons earned a 2-0 win over the Robins at The Racecourse Ground earlier this season and, having won three of their last four games in all competitions, Wrexham can make the short trip home with the spoils as they continue their push for a top-six place.
