Bet of the Day – Nottingham Forest to beat West Ham @ 5/4

Things are getting rather desperate for West Ham as they endeavour to avoid dropping into the Championship come the end of the season and the Hammers will be seven points from safety if they lose to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening.

Forest appear the side the Irons are most likely to catch if they are to extradite themselves from the bottom three of the Premier League table, but it’s difficult to see how West Ham can turn things in their favour.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are winless in their last nine top-flight matches, the Hammers were nailed 3-0 by bottom club Wolves on Saturday and, in truth, haven’t even looked like winning in recent weeks.

Goalscoring a huge concern for the east Londoners, who have notched only twice in their last four matches.

The Hammers will hope new signing Pablo Felipe can provide some attacking threat, with Callum Wilson no longer up to top-flight level, but it’s a big ask for a young striker with no Premier League experience.

Forest have lost four games on the bounce, but the Tricky Trees have a golden opportunity to move clear of their relegation rivals and it’s a chance Sean Dyche’s men should take.

Special of the Day – Rangers to beat Aberdeen, Como to beat Pisa & Ivory Coast to beat Burkina Faso treble @ 7/2

Rangers’ 3-1 victory over Celtic at Parkhead on Saturday has put the Gers firmly back in the Scottish Premiership title race and Danny Rohl’s men can keep the pressure on Hearts by beating Aberdeen.

The Dons have lost five of their last seven games and don’t look likely to trouble the Gers at Ibrox.

In Serie A, Como splashed the cash in the summer and Cesc Fabregas’ side are at least contenders for a place in Europe next season.

They prevented Udinese from having a single effort on target last time out and there should be another three points from a trip to Pisa. The Towers have won only one Serie A game all season and scored just once in nine home league games.

Over in Morocco Ivory Coast impressed when going unbeaten in the group stage of the African Cup of Nations and taking seven points from games against Mozambique, Cameroon and Gabon rates pretty strong form.

Burkina Faso appear a little short of the Elephants’ level and Ivory Coast can progress to the quarter finals in 90 minutes.

Longshot of the Day – Livingston to win & over 2.5 @ 39/10

Livingston sit at the foot of the Scottish Premiership table, but David Martindale’s men are a better side than their league position suggests and that was evident at Hearts last time out.

Livi only went down 1-0 at Tynecastle to the title-chasing Jambos and narrow defeats have been the story of the season for the West Lothian side.

Livingston have already added two players to their squad in the transfer window, with Emmanuel Danso and Joshua Zimmerman arriving and that should give Martindale’s men the boost they need.

St Mirren lifted the Scottish League Cup earlier in the campaign, but the Buddies have lost five of their last six away top-flight games and another tricky away day is on the cards.

Take a Livingston win and over 2.5 goals in a 39/10 bet builder.
