- Jameson Williams over 78.5 receiving yards @ 5/8
- Jahmyr Gibbs first touchdown scorer @ 3/1
High-scoring affair fancied in Detroit
While this may have looked like a fairly uneventful match-up a month ago, events since have rendered this clash between the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions as crucial to the NFC play-off picture.
The Cowboys have been hot recently, winning five in a row, and are now big players in the postseason picture at 6-5-1. They have beaten the two teams who contested last year’s Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, in just five days so come into this one in great form.
They are facing a Detroit Lions team who have struggled for consistency this season and following their loss to division rivals the Green Bay Packers, this is now a must-win game for the 7-5 Lions.
In such a competitive NFC race for the play-offs, this is essentially an elimination game and with the stakes being as high as they are, the two teams could put on a show.
No side has seen their games go over the points total more than the Cowboys this season, with eight of their 12 games delivering that outcome. Detroit are no strangers to a high-scoring affair either with seven of their 12 games hitting the overs.
The two teams put on 56 points when they met last season, with the Lions winning 47-9, but with Dallas riding high and both defences struggling at present, this could be another high-scoring game, albeit a much more even one.

Williams to put Lions on his back again
The Detroit Lions’ Jameson Williams had a career day against the Green Bay Packers last time out with seven catches for 144 yards.
Injuries could see Amon-Ra St. Brown, Brock Wright and Kalif Raymond miss out and that greatly reduces Detroit’s receiving corps.
That means Dan Campbell is likely to lean heavily on Williams and he is taken to go over his receiving yards total of 78.5 against a Cowboys team who have given up the most passing yards of any team in the NFL this season, 3,324.
Gibbs could strike early
The Lions’ Jahmyr Gibbs is one of the most electric running backs in the NFL and with Detroit looking to establish the run early in their own back yard, he is a good bet to score this game’s first touchdown.
Only three players in the league have more rushing touchdowns than Gibbs’ ten and he is worth supporting to kickstart this game in explosive fashion.
