Snoop Dogg gives hilarious review of Warriors star Jimmy Butler’s good hands

On Monday night, renowned Hip-Hop icon Snoop Dogg joined play-by-play commentator Terry Gannon as well as color commentator Reggie Miller on the Peacock broadcast of the Golden State Warriors’ clash against the Los Angeles Clippers. Snoop wasted no time making his mark on the broadcast, as he put his colorful spin on Warriors head coach Steve Kerr’s ejection on an admittedly bad call that went against them.

But beyond that, Snoop is showing that he may have a future in sports commentary with the way he was dropping bars on live television. On one such play, Warriors star Jimmy Butler took the ball out of Kawhi Leonard’s hands. Snoop then hilariously described Butler’s hands as he snatched the ball away from one of the league’s most surehanded players in Leonard.

“Oh, good hands, good hands. They’ve been ripping him all day. Cookies and cream, they opened up a cookie shop on him!” Snoop said, via the official ClutchPoints account on X (formerly Twitter).

This loss isn’t that embarrassing for the Warriors, but one would have to think that they were favored in this matchup despite it being at Intuit Dome. After all, James Harden was out of action due to a shoulder injury, forcing the inexperienced Kobe Sanders into the starting lineup.

However, the Warriors struggled on offense all night long; they shot 38 percent from the field and 24.4 percent from beyond the arc. No one outside of Stephen Curry and Butler could hit consistently from the field.

This loss has got to have the Warriors front office thinking a trade or two, and there’s only a little over a week left before Jonathan Kuminga becomes eligible to be traded away. Perhaps Golden State would go on a run similar to the one they did after acquiring Butler last year once they get rid of Kuminga.
