Snooker star brutally jeered by UK Championship crowd after mocking England amid Ashes woes
Neil Robertson played the role of pantomime villain during his UK Championship semi-final against Judd Trump.
The Thunder from Down Under was booed by the crowd inside the York Barbican after making his way into the arena.

Robertson poked fun at England’s struggles in the second Ashes Test during his walk-on.
As he approached the table, the Australian pretended to hit cricket shots with his snooker case.
His antics were immediately met with boos and jeers from those in the audience.
Robertson was able to see the funny side, though, as he laughed off the response.
He could also be seen joking with referee Ben Williams as he admitted: “I was not going to do it. I nearly didn’t do it.”
The 43-year-old’s cricket-themed walk-on came amid England’s Ashes woes in Brisbane.
Australia secured an eight wicket victory in the second Test to extend their lead in the series to 2-0.
As for Robertson’s clash with Trump, the start of the match was delayed as neither player had been given a towel.
TNT Sports commentator Neal Foulds even joked he would not have given one to Robertson due to his cricket dig.
Foulds said: “I would not have given a towel to Neil Robertson anyway after that walk-on where he mocked English cricket, I think. I would have left him with no towel, no drink, nothing.”

Robertson would go on to lose the last four clash, with Trump securing a 6-3 victory.
It came despite the world number three having the only century break of the match with a 114 in the fourth frame.
Meanwhile, Trump set up a final showdown with Mark Selby on Sunday.
As for Robertson, he is a three-time winner of the UK Championship, most recently in 2020.
The former world champion will be back in action later this month after his defeat to Trump.
His next match is scheduled to take place in the first round of the main draw at the Scottish Open.

Robertson is the fourth seed at the event and faces He Guoqiang of China in his opening clash.
The tournament in Edinburgh begins on December 15 and runs through to the final six days later.
