Shedeur Sanders to come face-to-face with Steelers star following bold ‘disrespect’ prediction
Last time the Pittsburgh Steelers played the Cleveland Browns, Jalen Ramsey had himself a day.
In a Week 6 win at Acrisure Stadium, the veteran defensive back found himself in uncharted territory.

Early in the game, Ramsey blitzed off the left edge and locked his sights on Dillon Gabriel. He took Cleveland’s rookie quarterback down for the first sack of the game.
In the fourth quarter, he repeated that trick when he found himself in the backfield once again.
Ramsey slipped by Browns tight end Blake Whiteheart and pursued Gabriel out of the pocket, before he pulled him down four yards behind the line of scrimmage.
It was the first multi-sack game in the veteran’s 10-year career, and one that he will never forget.
But when the two teams meet again on Sunday, Ramsey will go toe-to-toe with a different rookie quarterback.
Shedeur Sanders has secured the Browns’ starting role in more recent weeks, and will have a chance to enact revenge for teammate Gabriel, who was sacked six times in total by the Steelers back in October.
Judging by what happened in Week 6, Ramsey will be happy to see No. 12 on the field.
Jalen Ramsey’s viral moment with Shedeur Sanders resurfaces
After the Pittsburgh star got his second sack of the game on Gabriel, eagle-eyed fans noticed he celebrated by pointing towards Sanders and Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski on the sideline.
Ramsey appeared to urge Cleveland to put their backup in the game, in a moment that racked up hundreds of thousands of views on social media.
“Jalen a real one for that,” one fan said at the time.

“Pointed straight at him and basically said, ‘You started the wrong QB,'” another wrote, having seen the video.
A third posted: “Bro was saying ‘too easy, you should be in the game.'”
“Bro wanted a challenge, so he wanted them to put a better QB in,” a fourth concluded.
Ahead of the Browns vs Steelers game in Week 17, Ramsey’s viral moment with Sanders resurfaced, with some fans warning the Steelers star should have been careful about what he ‘wished for.’
But it wasn’t just Gabriel that would have felt disrespected after October’s game.
Myles Garrett name-checked by Jalen Ramsey after beating Browns
When an ecstatic Ramsey broke down his performance in the 23-9 win, he name-checked another Browns star as he spoke to reporters.

“I’m going to probably tell my kids about this,” the DB, who had just three career sacks entering that clash, said.
“I played in a game with T.J. Watt and Myles Garrett, and I had two sacks.
“That’s crazy.”
Garrett, who signed a mega-money deal with the Browns last summer, certainly wouldn’t have enjoyed being upstaged by Ramsey that day.

Now, 11 weeks on, he is on the brink of NFL history himself.
Garrett leads the league with 22 sacks and can surpass both Michael Strahan (22.5 sacks in 2001) and Watt (22.5 in 2021) for the most sacks in a single season.
If he can get to Aaron Rodgers and take him down just once, Cleveland’s star will go into the history books.
Ramsey’s Week 6 comments, perhaps, will help fuel that quest.
