Seahawks’ Kenneth Walker III hilariously responds to GM’s contract comments at parade

The Seattle Seahawks are in celebration mode after winning the Super Bowl, and they may be in that mode for some time. During their parade, general manager John Schneider gave props to the group for being able to go all the way, and he also gave major props to Kenneth Walker III for winning Super Bowl MVP.

During his speech, he said that Walker was trying to negotiate a contract with him, as he’s set to become a free agent next month.

In a hilarious response, Walker went on Instagram and commented on the video, saying, “Must’ve been da liquor he drinking cuz I never said dat shi [emoji]!”

Scheinder may have been joking during his speech, but he also knows that those negotiations will be coming sooner rather than later, especially after what Walker was able to accomplish in the Super Bowl.

In a time when the offense couldn’t get much going against the New England Patriots, Walker was the one constant, as he gashed the opposing defense almost every time he got the ball. That’s why it was no question why Walker won MVP, and he put the offense on his back to help them separate from the Patriots early.

It’s hard to see the Patriots let Walker walk to another team, but if the money isn’t up to his standards, it would not be a surprise if he left.

At the same time, he could also consider taking a discount so they can try to run it back with the same squad. There shouldn’t be much turnover from the roster going into the next season, but they do need to make sure they re-sign their key players who are hitting the market.
