O'Rourke, Fisher and Tickner return from injuries for Bangladesh white-ball series

New Zealand have called up returning fast bowlers Will O’Rourke, Blair Tickner and Matthew Fisher to their squad for the white-ball tour of Bangladesh in April.

O'Rourke, who returns from a back injury, is part of the ODI squad. Fisher, who has recovered from a shin injury, has been named to the T20 squad, while Tickner, who returns from an ankle injury, is part of both squads.

"Will, Blair and Matt have been working very hard over the past few months to get themselves back on the park and back in contention for selection and we're pleased to welcome them back into the group. With the amount of cricket being played in the modern game, having depth in our bowling stocks is key. Having players of this quality come back is great for our side," New Zealand head coach Rob Walter said.

Tom Latham has been named stand-in captain for both series, with captain Mitchell Santner on IPL duties. New Zealand have also handed a recall to batter Dean Foxcroft, who was the second-highest run-scorer for the Central Districts in the victorious Ford Cup campaign.

New Zealand will arrive in Dhaka on April 13, with the ODI series slated to start on April 17, and the T20 series to start on April 27.
