Oleksandr Usyk vs Deontay Wilder simulation sees both dropped twice before brutal body-shot KO

Oleksandr Usyk and Deontay Wilder are keen to meet in a heavyweight clash, and a simulation has attempted to show boxing fans the outcome.

Usyk was expected to defend his undisputed heavyweight world titles against Fabio Wardley, but decided to relinquish his WBO belt in search of a more lucrative fight.

Wilder and Usyk could meet in real life, but the outcome has already been predicted for boxing fans

He instead boldly declared that he wanted to face hard-hitting American Deontay Wilder, despite his significant decline in form in recent years.

The pair now appear to have verbally agreed to a clash in 2026, with Wilder’s team indicating it is now too their priority to formalise talks.

So it is now expected that the pair could well touch gloves in the new year.

Usyk is of course an overwhelming favourite, given his sensational record which sees him undefeated while having wiped out a who’s who of leading operators.

Meanwhile the ‘Bronze Bomber’ hasn’t won since 2023, but if he can revive his infamous punching power, he can be a threat to anyone with a single shot.

In an attempt to resolve exactly what the outcome will be, boxing game Undisputed has had the result simulated.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Deontay Wilder simulation ends in KO

The simulation begins at perhaps an unrealistic frantic pace, although Usyk did stop Daniel Dubois early on in his last outing in July.

It was as expected with Usyk dictating the tempo in the fast-paced opener, but Wilder retreated and refused to exchange.

And while on the ropes, the Ukrainian switches the attack downstairs to the body which appears to be covered by the defence of Wilder.

Despite largely hitting the arm, Wilder drops to a knee and is counted and ultimately returns to his feet.

In the second period, Usyk inflicts the same scenario, switching from head to body before a right hook to the liver drops the American again.

But in a truly bizarre and far-fetched moment, as Usyk steams in to walk down his rival, Wilder clips him with a straight right hand.

The champion is dropped face first into the ropes by a glancing blow to the temple which largely appears to miss, but he too jumps back to his feet.

Tides looked to turn again with Usyk then down in the third round for a second time, left wincing in pain by Wilder’s own body work.

He manages to recover but this punch recognises a weakness of Usyk which many fighters have tried and failed to exploit in authentic fights.

But seemingly without any significant period of recovery, ‘The Cat’ charges back towards Wilder at full steam looking to close the show.

With little in the tank he bizarrely covers up to the body without throwing a punch, before a left hand finds the target.

Wilder is doubled over and fails to beat the count, with the referee stopping a truly titanic war of attrition.

Any such shootout will be highly unlikely with Usyk never dropped since gracing the division.

But if Wilder is somehow roll back the years, he will pin his hopes on landing that killer blow.
