Newcastle have won each of their last six Premier League games against Burnley.

The Clarets have lost ten games from 14 so far this season including each of the last five in a row in the league.

Their two wins came in a row prior to that against Leeds and Wolves back in October (both also contending with relegation) so Newcastle are the easy choice here but are odds-on.

Burnley also struggle against Newcastle away from home, going winless in their last seven visits to St James’ Park – their last such victory in the league came back in 1976.

The Magpies have lost just once in their last 27 Premier League games against newly promoted sides, winning 17 of them.

Which all points further towards a decent Newcastle victory, albeit a draw also being fairly prominent.

That said, Burnley are on a huge losing run and surely won’t be able to come away with a point at a stadium they struggle at.

All four of those involvements put Newcastle a goal ahead in the match.

Though, Zian Flemming has scored in each of his last three Premier League away games, netting four goals in total in this run.

Additionally, Flemming has scored in each of his first three away Premier League starts.

The only player to score in each of his first four away starts in the competition is Erling Haaland in August/September 2022.
