Donegal

All the betting in this one is geared towards the front three in the market, who each lead with prior hurdle form with two holding penalties.

The question becomes can Loaded And Locked make the most of his weight being 7lb lower than these two main rivals.

But Donegal is carrying just 10-4 and under Sean Bowen may have a bigger say in things than the 8/1 suggests.

The four-year-old was a neck second to an inconsistent runner last month but should do well here given the circumstances.

Aguellid

Odds-on favourite Aguellid didn’t settle enough at Exeter on debut but there were plenty of excuses especially as this was his first run for 429 days.

It was also his British debut and now with a hood he’s fancied to go better in this contest having been 9/1 last time out.

He also carries 7lb less than the penalised Vol Royale who won last time out over course and distance so has plenty of support after that victory.

But the eyecatcher of Aguellid deserves the backing given the way he shaped up when pushing for home last time at Exeter.
