Manchester United v Newcastle LIVE commentary: Kick-off time and team news for Boxing Day showdown
Manchester United will look to return to winning ways against Newcastle on Boxing Day.
The two sides meet at Old Trafford in the only Premier League fixture scheduled for December 26.

United will head into the contest without a home victory for two months.
Since beating Brighton on October 25, Ruben Amorim’s side have been beaten by Everton as well as claiming draws with West Ham and Bournemouth.
Meanwhile, Newcastle have been in poor form on their travels so far this season.
In 11 away matches in all competitions, the Magpies’ have tasted victory just twice.
However, they have an impressive recent record against United, winning five of their last six meetings.
The Red Devils’ only victory in that period saw them win 3-2 at Old Trafford in May 2024.

Meanwhile, Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui are all on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Casemiro returns from a one-match ban after accumulating five yellow cards, though.

Kobbie Mainoo is also set to undergo a late fitness test after missing the clash with Villa due to an injury picked up in training.
As for Newcastle, Eddie Howe continues to contend with a lengthy injury list.
Dan Burn, Tino Livramento, Kieran Trippier, Emil Krafth, Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles all remain absent.
William Osula has also been ruled out indefinitely due to an ankle injury suffered in November.
There could be a boost in goal, though, with Nick Pope potentially returning.
The England international has missed the last seven matches in all competitions with a groin injury.
