‘Low key soft’ – Jake Paul calls out beaten Anthony Joshua rival who weighs 257 lbs and has ‘no chin’
Jake Paul may have had his jaw destroyed by Anthony Joshua but it hasn’t stopped him from calling out his next rival.
Paul’s jaw was broken in two places thanks to a vicious right hand from Joshua that put a stop to their money-spinning bout in the sixth round.

Despite being reduced to only consuming liquids for a week following the fight having immediately undergone surgery to repair his jaw, Paul is already looking to what’s next.
Speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, hosted by his brother Logan, Paul revealed he has former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in the crosshairs.
“I told everyone that I would do better than Francis,” Paul, who struggled to talk and spoke with somewhat of a lisp due to his broken jaw, said.
“Francis has kind of got no chin. Francis is low key soft.
“I’ll fight Francis. That’s a good idea, actually. I think maybe now he’ll take [the fight].”
Ngannou has not fought since October 19, when he knocked out Renan Ferreira inside the first round to become the PFL Super Fights heavyweight champion.
It was Ngannou’s first mixed martial arts (MMA) bout since January 2022 having walked away from the UFC and taken a detour into the squared circle with boxing bouts against Joshua and Tyson Fury.
Ngannou, who weighed in at 256.8 lbs for his bout against Ferreira, knocked down Fury in his boxing debut but was ultimately beaten in a split decision verdict.
Despite the loss, Ngannou’s impressive display against the then-unbeaten Fury catapulted him into the WBC’s heavyweight rankings.
However, Ngannou’s time in the top bracket of heavyweights in boxing was emphatically ended in his second bout against Joshua.

Against the Brit, Ngannou was knocked out cold in the second round via a brutal right hand.
It was the third time Ngannou had been sent tumbling to the canvas against Joshua, although he impressively rose to his feet on the first two occasions.
Paul has previously approached Ngannou for a bout in the past, with the Cameroonian even tipped to step up as the replacement for Gervonta Davis after a series of allegations were levelled at the latter regarding an incident at a strip club on October 27.
However, it was Joshua who ultimately filled the void left by Davis as Ngannou told TMZ Sports a bout between him and the YouTuber-turned-boxer made ‘no sense.’
“Basically, how can they go from Gervonta Davis to Francis Ngannou?” Ngannou said.
“Gervonta Davis is a fantastic boxer and is a one-shot knockout artist, but come on.

“We’re way different. It makes no sense. Gervonta Davis, you come, you say, ‘OK, the size difference can level up.’
“[But] at this point, for me, it makes no sense.”
However, given Paul’s bout against Joshua was viewed by 33 million on Netflix and both were reported to have made upwards of $70million (£51.8m), Ngannou’s tune may soon change.
Unfortunately for the hulking 39-year-old, he may be waiting a while before Paul returns to full health.
According to the Daily Mail, Paul may be out of action for nine months amid complications stemming from his fractured jaw.
The report claimed the fracture in Paul’s jaw ran through the roots of his teeth, which means dental implants are likely to be needed, a procedure that can take three months to recover from.
Crowns would then need to be fitted to the implants, a process which would add on an additional six to seven months of recovery time.
Safe to say, it’ll be a while before Paul can continue his boxing adventure.
