The final couple of years have been hellish for Vitolo Machin, as he had not performed a single minute of soccer because the 2022-23 season (when he was on mortgage at Las Palmas). A succession of damage issues meant that he was all the time unavailable for motion, and now, the inevitable has occured.
In the previous few days, Vitolo has introduced on the Actitud Constante podcast (by way of MD) that he’s retiring from skilled soccer on the age of 35. He cited his wretched damage issues as being the deciding issue.
“In the long run I had such a nasty time with the accidents that I mentioned I needed to vanish slightly from everybody and be with my household. I had three operations and it took 9 or ten months to get better from every of them.”
Vitolo had been a free agent after leaving Atletico Madrid throughout the summer time. He first joined Los Colchoneros again in 2017, though he was lowered to solely 101 appearances, along with his final within the red-and-white being throughout the 2020-21 season.
