Liam Rosenior on radar of several Premier League clubs as Chelsea owners face fight to keep him
Chelsea’s owners BlueCo could face a battle to keep hold of Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior amid Premier League interest, talkSPORT understands.
The English coach has proved a huge success since replacing Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira at the Ligue 1 side in July 2024.

Rosenior took over Strasbourg ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, having been controversially sacked by Hull just two months earlier.
It came as a surprise to many, with the 41-year-old narrowly missing out on a play-off place, and impressing with a young squad.
His stock has only continued to rise in France, as he guided his side to Conference League qualification with a seventh-place league finish.
Fulham eyeing up Rosenior
Although Strasbourg are currently on a three-game winless run in Ligue 1, Rosenior’s impressive rise now looks to be attracting Premier League suitors.
The Englishman is understood to be on the radar of his former club Fulham.
This will come as a worry to Chelsea‘s owners BlueCo – with Todd Boehly‘s consortium acquiring a majority stake in Strasbourg in 2023.
It isn’t the first time Rosenior has drawn interest from teams on these shores, with his current employers having to fend off interest from Southampton and Leicester in the summer.
And none of this will come as a surprise to the French side, who see Rosenior as being capable of managing at the highest level.
However, if a top-flight club come calling it may not be so easy to persuade him to stay.

What is Fulham’s managerial situation?
Fulham could make for an attractive prospect for Rosenior, with the long-term future of head coach Marco Silva currently up in the air.
talkSPORT previously reported that the Cottagers were weighing up their next move with their boss, amid rising tensions behind the scenes at the club.
Silva has been reluctant to sign a new deal in west London and, as things stand, he will be a free agent at the end of the season.
The 48-year-old has been Fulham boss since 2021 and led them to their highest ever Premier League points tally last term (54) – which saw them finish the campaign in 11th place.
However, speculation began over Silva’s future in the summer, when he held talks with Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal.
He was also linked to Tottenham when Ange Postecoglou was sacked, and later Nottingham Forest when the Australian lost his job again.
And while Fulham owner Shahid Khan previously insisted Silva was part of the club’s long-term plans, the coach has also been vocal about his frustrations over the club’s lack of transfer activity in the summer.

How have Strasbourg performed this season?
Despite a busier schedule this term, the BlueCo-owned club have acquitted themselves well, particularly in Europe.
Strasbourg currently sit second in the Conference League’s league phase table with 10 points from four games, and only goal difference separating them and leaders Samsunspor.
As for their league form, Rosenior’s side find themselves eighth in Ligue, though they are just two points adrift of Rennes and Lyon, who occupy sixth and fifth respectively – the qualifying spots for the Conference League and Europa League.
