Jake Paul has signed one of British boxing’s hottest commodities, Caroline Dubois, to a long-term promotional deal.

The sister of former IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois will make her maiden appearance under the Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) banner on the Paul vs Anthony Joshua undercard on December 19 in Miami.

Dubois (11-0-1) faces Italy’s Camila Panatta (8-2-1) in the third defence of her green and gold strap.

She previously plied her trade with Ben Shalom’s BOXXER.

However, the WBC lightweight champion has now become the latest addition to a stacked female MVP roster that already includes seven-division titlist Amanda Serrano and unified WBA, IBF and WBO super featherweight queen Alycia Baumgardner.

What did Caroline Dubois say about signing with Jake Paul?

“Signing with MVP is the next step in my career,” said Dubois.

“I’m proud to be under their roster, and I believe they will be able to help me on my Quest for Greatness.

“The mission must be to become the face of women’s boxing.

“I’m super excited to make my debut on MVP and Netflix on Friday, December 19.

“Winning and winning in style, while announcing myself on the biggest stage and platform, is my dream and main motivation.”

Dubois made her professional debut in February 2022 after reaching the quarter-finals of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

She won the interim WBC title in her 10th bout and was subsequently upgraded to full world champion in December 2024 when Katie Taylor relinquished the belt.

Dubois was held to a technical draw in her first title defence against Jessica Camara in January after the bout was halted in the third stanza due to a cut over the Canadian’s left eye from a head clash.

Camara had already touched the canvas in the first round, and the writing was already seemingly on the wall before the anticlimactic finish.

Dubois then returned to the ring quickly to best Bo Mi Re Shin via majority decision in March.

Caroline Dubois becomes latest British female signing

“Caroline Dubois has been the most coveted free agent in women’s boxing and we are thrilled to have her join MVP,”  said MVP co-founders Paul and Nakisa Bidarian in a joint statement.

“She’s a champion, an Olympian and a rising star in the UK and beyond, and she makes her MVP debut Friday, December 19, as she joins the stacked Jake vs. Joshua card in her third world title defence.

“While existing and new boxing promoters battle about belts, MVP’s focus on women’s boxing is driven by creating a global brand, with the largest roster of elite fighters, that delivers a product that is unquestionably the best athletes in the sport.

“Adding an undefeated world champion of Caroline’s calibre is another key piece to that vision.

“She joins our elite British contingent, and we look forward to providing her the opportunity to continue her rise with an MVP event in the UK in early 2026.”

Other British fighters on the MVP roster include Ellie Scotney, Chantelle Cameron, Terri Harper, Savannah Marshall, Ramla Ali, and Shannon Courtenay.
